Methanol Reformer has been recognized at the BNEW 2025 Awards as the “Best Sustainability Startup”, an accolade that highlights its work in developing decentralized energy solutions based on hydrogen and electricity generation through methanol reforming. The company was selected from over 120 participating startups, reinforcing its leadership in sustainable innovation.
The award ceremony took place at the DFactory Barcelona building, within the framework of the sixth edition of the Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW), organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), an international benchmark event for innovation and entrepreneurship. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni; the Minister for Equality and Feminism of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Eva Menor; the Government Delegate in Catalonia, Carlos Prieto; and the General Director of CZFB, Blanca Sorigué.
